School Facility Advisory Committee

Our school district is analyzing our facility and developing a plan for school maintenance, repairs, and other building needs. We are hoping to have the expertise of parents and community members to help make decisions for the future of our building. The construction years of our school are on the website.

As you can see we have many old buildings connected over time that are now providing a modern education to our students.  We are seeking the expertise of all types of engineers, plumbers, electricians, general contractors, construction managers, architects, painters, realtors, and/or anyone who would like to join our group and assist us in designing an outline of needs for our building.  With the information compiled we will be able to more accurately advise our school board leaders, apply for building, energy efficiency, or maintenance grants, and provide a document to lead us into the future years of GGS.

Thank you in advance if you would have a few evenings to help us in our planning or if you could suggest this idea to a friend who might have expertise to lend us.  An organizational meeting and tour of the school facility will be held in April 2013.
